Every year at camp we learn about many homeless, hungry, and desperate children
that don't lead lives that are as fortunate as many of us at camp. We show you
pictures, read you facts, and try to give a brief snapshot of the true need that exists
in the world today.
We say and show all of these things not to make you feel guilty about what you have,
but to encourage everyone to reach out and try and make a difference. There are
countless ways that each and every one of us can contribute to improving the lives of
those less fortunate around us, from donating food, your old clothes, or just an hour
or two of your time.
We have provided some links below to organizations whose mission is to help many of
the children and families who need loving charity and assistance. We will continue
to update this page with additional information and encourage everyone to reach out
and make a difference - however so small.
